Delete your VoidMarch account
This page explains how to delete your account in VoidMarch, the game operated by VoidMarch Games L.L.C., and what happens to your data.
Uninstalling doesn’t delete your account
Removing the app, signing out or abandoning a colony leaves your account in place. Your commander, planets and fleets stay in the universe, where other players can still see and attack them. To remove them, delete your account.
Delete your account in the app
- Sign in and open the empire menu.
- Open Commander settings.
- Choose Delete account.
- Enter your password and confirm.
Deletion can’t be undone. You’ll be signed out on every device.
Delete your account on the web
If you no longer have the app, go to https://playvoidmarch.com/account/delete, sign in with your account email and password, and follow the same steps.
If you can’t sign in
Every account has an email address, so a lost password doesn’t mean a lost account. On the sign-in screen — in the app or on the web — choose Forgot your password? and enter your account email. If it matches an account, we’ll send a link to choose a new password. Follow it, then sign in and delete your account as described above.
If you believe someone else has taken control of your account, email support@playvoidmarch.com with your commander name and we will look into it.
What is deleted and what is kept
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Commander name and password | Deleted. |
| Planets, moons, fleets, research, resources and Credits balance | Removed from the universe. Fleets in flight are removed too. |
| Alliance membership | Removed. Leadership passes to a remaining member; an empty alliance is dissolved. |
| Chat messages you sent | Authored messages and private conversations involving your account are deleted. |
| Battle and espionage reports held by other players | Identifying account references are removed from retained reports; battle results may remain. |
| Age, terms acceptance and acceptance history | Deleted. |
| In-game support tickets and screenshots | Kept as feedback that is no longer linked to your account. We remove your account, commander, universe, planet, locale, time zone and action references and keep the rest, including screenshots. |
| Purchase records | Minimum records, such as the store transaction identifier, product, date and refund status, are kept for as long as we need them for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention and legal purposes. |
| In-game moderation records | Kept while we need them to enforce our rules, resolve disputes and protect players and the game. Open cases remain while unresolved. |
| Records of staff actions on your account | Kept while we need them to enforce our rules, resolve disputes and protect players and the game. |
| Support emails | Kept as long as we need them to answer you and keep a record of your request. |
| Backups | Deleted data can remain in recovery copies until scheduled expiration and deletion finish. |
How long deletion takes
There is no scheduled grace period. The request may briefly queue for processing; the app or deletion page confirms completion after the database changes commit.
We keep one record per deleted account — an account identifier and the date — for as long as the universe runs. It lets the app confirm your deletion finished and supplies a marker for replaying deletion against a restored backup. The record holds no commander name, password, email address or gameplay data.
